⚠ Warning

This chart display is an aid to situational awareness only — not for navigation. It is designed to facilitate the use of authorized government charts, not to replace them. Only official government charts and notices to mariners contain all of the information needed for safe navigation, and, as always, the captain is responsible for their prudent use.

Canadian waters are shown from the Canadian Hydrographic Service chart service as a picture rather than chart data: depths there cannot be clicked for a reading, and the safety-contour setting does not recolour them. Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Canada.

Depths, buoy observations and positions shown here may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate.

By continuing you acknowledge that XLOKK.COM and its operators accept no responsibility or liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage arising from the use of this site.

Safety Contour

Areas charted with coarse depth bands may show as shallow at fine contour settings.

Depth Units

Default follows your account setting (auto = by home port).
Grey depth figures are MODELLED from bathymetry, not surveyed soundings. They appear only where no charted sounding exists. Do not navigate on them.
Soundings are depths BELOW chart datum: Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW), the average of the lower of each day's two low waters. Tides are NOT applied to charted depths -- the real depth changes with the tide and near low water can be LESS than charted. Vertical clearances are heights above Mean High Water. Positions are WGS 84.
